Rosemary Plybon
You might recognize Rosemary Plybon from her ten years on WFMY’s Good Morning Show. Now the mom of four is a passionate advocate for children in Guilford County, working in schools, pools and neighborhoods.
As a rookie reporter in Savannah, Georgia, she covered everything from homicides to space shuttle launches, and worked behind the scenes of the premiere of the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Her career took her to Wilmington, NC where she worked for three years as a morning anchor, before returning home to anchor WFMY’s The Good Morning Show for almost a decade.
In 2013 Plybon went to work for the City of Greensboro as a producer and host for Greensboro Television Network. She joined shift_ed first as a volunteer and then went to work in the communications department in 2018.

She’s a passionate advocate for water safety and the opportunity for every child to learn to swim; she has taught lessons to children and adults for more than 25 years.
