For a third time in as many years, Triad Today hosted an interview with North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory. Jim Longworth discussed current topics with the Governor, such as gun control laws, same-sex marriage, andbond referendums. In October 2013, Triad Today celebrated it’s tenth anniversary. This special edition featured highlights from those ten years, featuring politicians like Beverly Purdue, Pat McCrory and Virginia Foxx, local personalities like Wanda Starke, Cindy Farmer and Kimberly Van Scoy, North Carolina sports personalities like Woody Durham, Clarence “Bighouse” Gaines and Richard Petty, and Hollywood stars like Bryan Cranston, Robert Wagner and Marion Ross. Also featured are the people behind local community organizations like Winston-Salem Urban League, Second Harvest Food Bank, UNC Greensboro and Novant Health, as well as comments from three of Jim’s “Knights of the Round Table”, Ogi Overman, Sheriff BJ Barnes and Keith Grandberry.
